The High Peak Radio Alternative World Cup draw has now been made.

The first matches - which take the form of an on-air quiz - kicked off on Wednesday, 2nd June. Games are played every weekday between 10am and midday. Each player is asked 3 questions - each correct answer scores a goal.
It's the High Peak Radio Alternative World Cup - and one player will win a £500 voucher from the local business they're teamed up with.

Big News!
So... you've heard about the Big Gig for Christies at The Sycamore Inn on Saturday 10 July? Well, here's some Big News.

Fairfield Plaice, the fully-refurbished traditional fish-and-chip shop on Victoria Park Road, Fairfield, is giving free lunch to the first person through the door each weekday who mentions the "Fairfield Phrase of the Day".
Leighton will reveal a new phrase each day just before 10am - and whoever is first to quote this phrase at lunchtime gets that day's "Dish of the Day".
